Director of Engineering, Construction

Key Job Responsibilities
Using the Enviva Four Pillars of Operational Discipline, this position is responsible for (3) key deliverables
Build a team of subject matter experts and Engineers to support equipment development and integration, manufacturing process improvements and reliability, and support of operational issues as necessary
Establish a framework to manage equipment design and manufacturing development that encompasses scope develop through integration into operations that incorporates a plan, do, check, act methodology that will drive standardization across sites where ever possible or practical
Establish and direct best practice manufacturing process creation and standardization through various "islands" of manufacturing
Lead project and staff engineers to support multiple large-scale construction projects through the creation and sharing of manufacturing best practices and standardization objectives
Lead project engineering during the development period which includes, writing detailed and defined scopes, determining timelines with milestones in the development process, identifying key interfaces and providing guidance and expertise to keep the project design integrity and developing a complete scope of work document.
Facilitate the partnership with third party engineering and construction firms to deliver technical expertise on equipment and manufacturing process for the purpose to support equipment design, construction and integration.
Provide site support for QA/QC audits and equipment start-ups for greenfield and brownfield projects
Provide system integration and troubleshooting support during start-up and commissioning
Identify opportunities for equipment and processing improvements in existing sites and work with operational and functional areas to integrate improvements
BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
8-10 years' experience as a project engineer, system engineer and people manager for large scale construction projects
Demonstrated leadership in process development and standardization
Equipment design, commissioning and troubleshooting experience
Experience in wood, wood pellets and/or pulp and paper industry preferred.
Self-reliant and good communication skills essential.
Ability to use Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and design software required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
